The ACT Government has launched a new website to showcase Canberra to millions of people online. The website, produced by Simmersion Holdings, Bearcage Productions and Zoo Group, was developed specifically for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo which runs until October 31.
Chief Minister and Minister for Business and Economic Development, Jon Stanhope, unveiled the new site describing it as an effective way of "taking Canberra to the world" and beyond.
"ACTuality is an opportunity to ensure Canberra, Australia's capital, is prominently showcased at the largest expo in the world," Mr Stanhope said.
"ACTuality provides an ideal way for visitors to explore and learn about Canberra during their visit to the Australian Pavilion, online, or during one of three ACT Government business events to be held in the Australian Pavilion in July and September."
Mr Stanhope said the site featured spectacular 360 degree aerial panoramas of Canberra and surrounds, and will assist in promoting Canberra as a thriving capital encapsulating the theme, "Better City, Better Life".
